Have We Had Enough Yet?

I'm just an average, every day American.  Not a genius.  Not part of the wealthy few.  I'm just plain and simply tired of what our government leaders are doing to this country and its citizens.  But I can be as tired as it's possible to be and it won't do a single thing toward changing the way things are in this country.

No.  For that to happen it will take the unhappy majority getting off their collective butts and banding together to force our 'leaders' to work for us, rather than allowing them to continue kissing up to the self-serving minority they currently represent.

Whether or not you agree with everything I support isn't important.  I don't have to agree with everything you want either.  But I think we all have to admit that our government representatives have consistently ignored what the majority wants in order to push their agendas down our throats.

It doesn't matter if it's the health care reform, unemployment being reduced, taxes raised on those who can least afford it, trying to kill our unions, tax breaks given to corporations who continually take whatever they can get while giving little in return, or anything else you support or don't support.

The fact of the matter is, we're all at the mercy of a government who largely ignores 'we, the people.'  This government does what it wants, when it wants, regardless of who it hurts.

My hope is that the not so wealthy majority is just as tired as I am, and ready to start doing something about it, rather then just sitting back and complaining.

We need to start holding the people we elect accountable.  If they don't listen to the majority, and vote accordingly, we need to get them out of the offices we put them in.  And I don't mean at the next election.  Why should they be entitled to their full terms when they aren't doing the jobs we hired them to do?  The jobs they promised to do?

No, we need to exercise our rights as American's and actively work to remove them from office in the quickest, most efficient manner possible.  That means signing petitions and voting them out at the earliest opportunity.

And until we actually start doing that, the government will continue to do whatever they darned well please.  Because they know that they have nothing to fear from the not so wealthy majority.  So far all we have done is sit back and whine and complain.

So again I ask....have we had enough yet?
